Gobbler's Run appears Live!

On Friday I had my first market stall. It was a great learning experience and I had a ball! I almost sold out which was a bit of a surprise. I will need to have a lot more product with me for these events!
It wasn't all great though. All the other stalls were in a separate room, I was placed in the corner of the dining room where everyone was eating. If you looked in the door from the other room where the stalls were all you could see were people eating, but I was still happy with the evening. Jamie bought his mum in to have a look which really made my night. I can't wait to do it again!

woohoo ~ that's great Kirsty!! your table looks great with your products on it. Congrats on nearly selling out of products :)

Maybe you were given that position as you hadn't sold stuff there before. If you have a stall there again, perhaps ask for a different position....

Fantastic Kirsty, it must have given you sucb a great sense of achievement. Once I settle into my new job, I want to have a go at my own soapmaking, but I think my efforts will pall next to yours!

Thanks for all the well wishes I did have such a great time! That's MIL in the pic with me LOL. I thought my display looked a bit flat so Jamie is whipping me up some black irony stands to get the soaps up a bit higher...can't wait to see them!

Ali , I might take you up on that one day lol
Jill the book thing sounds like a great job! and I'm sure your soaps will be fantastic!
Polly I have the Nhill show coming up in two weeks...I'm bit nervous about that one!
Duckie, I'm ahead so I did OK but no trips to QLD just yet LOL

Wow, I can't believe how far you have come in such a short amount of time! It took me over a year to practice making soap and go to selling. Congratulations. Hope you have lots of success doing it!
